By car

From Joseph, take the Wallowa Lake Highway (OR-351) south along the east moraine. We’re at 59771, on the way to the lake — about six miles from town. Free parking on site, room for a horse trailer.

By bus — no car needed

   Portland → La Grande

   FlixBus runs Portland ↔ Boise with a stop in La Grande — about five hours through the Columbia Gorge and the Blue Mountains.

   La Grande → Joseph on the Wallowa Link

   The Wallowa Link — Community Connection of Northeast Oregon’s intercity bus — connects La Grande to Enterprise and Joseph on scheduled days. Check the current schedule before you travel; it doesn’t run daily.

   Joseph → the Pack Station

   The last six miles follow the lake road. Get in touch before you arrive and we’ll help you sort the final leg.
